Teaching Kids How to Use Drones

Last week me and a couple other Help Desk students, as well As Mr. Wong, went on a couple field trips. On our first field trip we went to Fox Hill Elementary and on our second we went to Memorial Elementary. We went on these trips, because Help Desk was given the opportunity to teach young students about drones. Even though both fields trips consisted of 2 other students, we were still able to give every elementary student a chance to experiance drones in some way. On the first trip every student was able to look at a VR headset that connected to the drone we were flying. On the second trip we taught the students how use coding blocks that allowed them to control the drones. Both trips were very fun and I hope we can go again sometime. Also we were able to ride in Mr. Wong’s tesla, which made it that much better.
