A couple weeks ago the help desk class along with another computer science class had taken a trip to Boston to visit the LogMeIn headquarter. LogMeIn is a provider of software as a service and cloud-based remote connectivity services for collaboration, IT management and customer engagement. They were founded in 2003, where we visited. While we were there our classes were given a tour and we participated in many activities, such as a survey game everyone had played (my team tied for first). After the surveys we had talked to a couple of the workers there who gave us a bit of insight on working for cybersecurity. Later on we taken downstair where we were given salad and pizza. Overall the LogMeIn field trip was a fun learning experience that had given the students an opportunity to learn about cybersecurity.
